Nitishwar Mavidyalaya was founded by late Nitishwar Prasad Singh, freedom fighter and popular leader. He was immensely interested in motivating people towards literary and academic creativity. This led him to establish a number of literary and educational institutions. Nitishwar Mahavidyalaya and also Suhrid Sangh, situated within the campus of the college, are such live examples of the creative endeavors of Nitishwar Babu. The college remembers and pays tributes to great soul of Bihar and also gets recharged with the ideals of Nitishwar Babu on 6th February every year. The day is celebrated as Nitishwar Punya Smriti Diwas. Nitishwar College aspires to play a pivotal role in catering to the needs of this area of the northern part of Bihar through comprehensive education and by infusing in the students a spirit of competition and thirst for excellence. Our vision ensures personality and enlightened development of the younger generation through education to build them an ideal asset of the nation.
